Dr. Deborah Keepers specializes in beautifying smiles, maintaining your dental health, and helping you improve your appearance. Our experienced and friendly staff takes great pride in keeping your smile beautiful. Dr. James Tovar
From kids to adults, Dr. Tovar holds patient care in the highest of regards and will love to provide quality dentistry for the people of his hometown. Dr. Tovar received his Bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer and his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He is skilled in all aspects of dentistry including wisdom teeth removal, cosmetic veneers, and Invisalign. Dr. Tovar loves to continue to learn new advances in dentistry and is an active member of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, San Antonio District Dental Society, and San Antonio Fellowship Study Club.
Dr. Alexis Eichhorn
Dr. Alexis Eichhorn is a warm, caring general dentist who strives to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She grew up in North Texas and earned her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University—Go Pokes! She completed dental school at UT Health San Antonio followed by a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) to further expand her skills. Her favorite part of dentistry is building genuine connections. She explains treatment in clear, simple terms and aims to make every visit calm, positive, and personalized. Outside the office, she loves hiking national parks, trying new restaurants with her fiancé, and spending time with her senior pug, Gunner. Dr. Eichhorn is grateful to care for the Helotes and San Antonio community and looks forward to welcoming you with kindness and a genuine smile.
About Our Practice
Helotes Gentle Family Dentistry was established in 1997 by Dr. Deborah R. Keepers. From humble beginnings acting as her own receptionist and performing all hygiene appointments herself, she has grown her practice into an 8-operatory, fully staffed office with multiple hygienists, assistants, and office personnel.
Our office is set back on a private tree-lined lot that offers our patients relaxing views of the hill country. Our address is 15876 Bandera Road in Helotes, TX.
